Local Arrangements Committee Aug. 21. 2020.

有關研討會報名及新冠疫情因應措施，組委會發表以下幾項說明：

1、由於新冠疫情，到目前為止進入台灣仍然必須經過14天的檢疫隔離。 若臺灣官方發佈任何新的檢疫政策，組委會將即時於官網公告。

2、九月中旬會確定研討會的進行模式：全部實體辦理，或是實體與視訊結合辦理。無論現場參加或是線上參加，「一律免註冊費」。國際研討會幾乎沒有免費的情況，今年因為疫情才做此決定，所以現場名額有限，「要報名得盡快，請好好把握難得機會」。（食宿自行處理）

3. 現場參加有人數限制，目前限額100名，額滿就不再開放現場名額（有可能換更大的場地，如果名額有增加，會在網路上公告）。

4、發表者和演講者，台灣組委會提供全程的住宿和餐飲；一般的研討會參與者，食宿需自行處理，但是組委會將在官網上提供相關資訊以供參考。

Regarding the conference registration and measures to cope with COViD-19 epidemic, the local organizing committee issued the following explanations:

1. So far, all passengers still have to go through a 14-day quarantine to get into Taiwan. If Taiwan government released any new quarantine policy, the organizing committee will immediately announce it on the official website.

2. Considering the global pandemic of COVID-19, the symposium will be held in either Present mode or Digital mode, or the Mixed version of these two mode, depend on the epidemic condition. The final resolution will be made around the middle of September and the LOC will spread an investigation sheet to each participant to know his/her specific condition. The "present-mode" meeting has a number limit of 100 people, and the registration will be closed when the amount is full (to be announce); the "digital-mode" meeting will be limited to 300 people.

3. Also due to this unprecedented event in human history, the local committee members of Taiwan have decided to offer “Registration for Free” for all the participants.

4. For the “presenter or speakers”, the local committee will arrange their accommodations and meals. For People who purely participate the conference, they have to arrange their own lodging and meals. But the local committee will provide the related information.
